The Nook is an integrative medicine practice in San Francisco, California.

3. Text Messaging (SMS) Program
What we send. With your consent, The Nook Integrative Health sends text messages about appointment reminders and confirmations, scheduling changes, and administrative and billing notices (for example, a reminder to complete your intake questionnaire or update your card on file). We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
How you opt in. You opt in by answering “Yes” to the text message consent question on our intake form and providing your mobile number. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any service or receiving care.
Message frequency and cost. Message frequency varies based on your appointments and account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP (or CANCEL, END, QUIT, or UNSUBSCRIBE) to any message. You will receive one final message confirming your opt-out, and we will send no further text messages unless you opt in again. To opt back in, reply UNSTOP. Carriers. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your mobile information is never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only as follows:
Service providers that help us run the practice, such as our electronic health record and scheduling system, payment processor, phone and messaging platform, email provider, and website host. They may use your information only to perform services for us and must keep it confidential.
Your care. With other health care providers, laboratories, or pharmacies involved in your care, as permitted by law or with your authorization.
Legal requirements. When required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the health and safety of you or others.
With your consent. When you direct or authorize us to share it.
